Located in beautiful Balboa Park, this annual event includes an exciting parade and a celebration of Irish culture and food that is one of the largest festivals in San Diego. The parade kicks off at 10:30 am and features over 100 participants including colorful floats, bagpipe groups, marching bands, horseback riders, the San Diego Police and Fire Departments, and even rollerskaters and antique cars!
After the parade stay to see live Irish-themed entertainment on two stages including Irish dancing and authentic bands playing tunes of the old country. Browse the booths filled with handmade crafts, and grab a Guinness at one of the two beer gardens. Thereâ€™s even a Kids Zone with plenty of games, rides, and other fun like face-painting to keep the little ones busy for hours. Come experience the hospitality and charm of the San Diego Irish community as they show off their traditional outfits, cuisine, and culture for the public to enjoy.
